TestGold is professional looking and fully integrated in one workspace with MDI environment for test development. TestGold has built-in text editor with formatting, lists, tables, Flash- and OLE-objects. You can set font, color of symbols and background, make symbols subscript and superscript, use paragraphs, bullets and numbering, built-in and background images, tables (including embedded), Flash- and OLE-objects (schemes, formulas, etc.) hyperlinks and special symbols and more and more. When you edit the text, "live spelling" is made (incorrect text is marked by a red wavy line).
TestGold maintains wide range of multimedia formats. Tests can contain multimedia data of different formats, including those permitting compression: 31 image formats and any playable audio or video.
TestGold has complex test format to let you create professional tests, assessments and surveys:
- educational and psychological testing;
- 12 types of question (psychological, alternative, likert scale (3-option), likert scale (5-option), single response, multiple response, ranking, multiple matching, free-form single response, free-form multiple response, free-form ranking, essay);
- question weight according to its relative complexity;
- limit of answer time for test question and test session in whole;
- restriction of test session running by sex and age of the user, which are also taken into account at session outcomes;
- question tips, used at testing, decreasing sum total of intermediate points;
- random order (randomization) of test questions and question choices during test session;
- training testing with question feedback (text + multimedia), activated on wrong answer;
- extended test description (category, subcategory, splash, purpose, instruction, information about developer and author);
- test protection by password on editing, registration, testing;
- free formatted test introduction with display limitation by time and period;
- complex psychological tests with multifactor outcome system (as total summary, accentuation discovery, most and least expressive factors + optional comprehensive analysis).
- test can be divided into sections (subtests, groups of questions with equal type or weight) with opportunity to select the limited number of section questions at testing automatically;
